We're looking at our 7th grade book lists right now. I'm curious - What is your rationale for including The Neverending Story and The Light Princess in this grade? Thank you!
Both books can shape the imagination in ways which recognizes the need for spiritual solutions. The Light Princess might work better in a medieval course, but I think it's fairy tale nature works here. And The Neverending Story has very obvious connections to the hero's journey, which is prevalent in many of the works laid out in this list. But they are, in the end, only suggestions.
