This is a good one to start with, though his nonfiction might be an easier intro. How To Write a Thesis and Six Walks in the Fictional Woods are outstanding.

Foucault’s Pendulum. Obsessed I was with mysticism back then. I gave it often as a gift, a litmus test of sorts. Now I fear his work may be far too dense for my older brain, so thank you for the summary.
